Things that are keeping the Teen Boss Babes Creative Team Motivated
Many of the Teen Boss Babes Creative Team members said that they focus on their ultimate goal and school. Many of the creative team members know that quarantine won’t be for long and that their dreams don’t stop just because of Covid-19.
A repeated tip said was quotes, the creative team members use quotes to hype themselves up or get creative ideas to help them jumpstart their creative process.
Working with other Teen Boss Babes Creative team members has helped other members to get inspired by their brands/businesses. The Team Boss Babes Creative team truly enforces the moto of Teen Boss Babes, they always help each other out with whatever they do, it's truly a positive environment.
4. Friends and Family
Staying in touch with family and friends, help motivate the girls to know that one day they will see their family and friends. You also can always work with your friends on schoolwork or a school presentation, it’s fun to do when you are at home.
5. Social Media
Youtube day in the life videos, Instagram, Pinterest, or podcasts helps the girls stay motivated because when you see others thriving, you want to thrive too and get straight to work. One of the Teen Boss Babes Creative Team members, Julia loves listening to The Goal Digger podcast to learn something and The Real Reel podcast to get motivated. Also another member, Paula loves TikTok because it helps her with her photography.
Things you can do to get motivated right now
1. Watch motivational Youtube videos or Day in the life videos
When you see someone getting things done, you naturally will want to get things done and get out of your funk. If watching a day in the life video doesn’t help you, you can watch motivational youtube videos, it is like daily affirmations, these videos hype you up and make you think of ways you can be the best person you can be.
2. Plan your day
When you plan your day, your mind won’t go 100 miles an hour, you will feel less anxious and will have a clear mindset for the day, week, or month. You can use a planner/ bullet journal or Apple/Google calendar. On these calendar apps, you can set reminders to workout, etc, I recommend Google Calendar.
3. Hold yourself accountable
Holding yourself accountable, will help you stay on track even when you don’t feel like working, or getting out of bed. You can always think of your ultimate goal or you can have a family member or friend that can be your accountability partner, so when you feel sluggish, your partner might feel energized, vice versa so this is very useful if you struggle with committing 100%.
4. Don’t give up
Don’t give up, quarantine won’t be forever so don’t put yourself down or push something to the next day and keep on moving it to the next day. One of the Teen Boss Babes Creative Team members, Giselle, says that “ Life is never easy, there is no shortcut. You need to put 110% into your work so that at the end of the day you know you put all your effort in.” What Giselle said is so true and trying to think about that daily will motivate you to get started on your day.
Anyone who is reading this right now, you should know that it is good to be motivated and get things done but make sure you don’t get burnout because you are overworking yourself. Balancing your daily activities will help you mentally and physically to relax.
