Hello everyone! Welcome back to the Teen Boss Babes Blog, This is Akunna, and today's blog post is all about How to surround yourself with high-value individuals. I've heard the term "High-value individuals or being a high-value person" a lot this past year, which led me to research what it means. That's what I will be explaining today and help you start incorporating people like this into your life because you can have an even greater quality of life with individuals like this.
High value does not being rich and being decked out in designer clothes, High value means you value yourself and know your worth. You have the confidence and integrity to work for your dreams without depending on others. Personally, I think the high-value people in my life are my best friends and my coworkers from TBB, these individuals have their own goals and know what they have to do to get there. This mentality that surrounds me motivates me to get my life together and work hard for my goals. I don't hesitate to ask them questions and to learn more about their work ethic and they're why.
So how can you surround yourself with like-minded individuals who you consider are high-value? Well, I think you should try to make the initiative both online and in-person, for example, if you see someone in your class who you admire their work ethic and think you can learn from don't feel afraid to introduce yourself and maybe compliment them. This can lead to an amazing friendship, I've done this numerous times and even though it has been awkward at times, I've been able to form amazing connections. Another way is dming people on Instagram that you would like to connect with. When I first met Paola, I was inspired by her work ethic and her goals for what is now TBB, I asked her to be on my podcast then after a few weeks we kept in contact and started working on TBB together. I now view Paola as one of my top inspirations because she is such a hard worker.
Anyways, all you really have to do is put yourself out there, be selective with the people you want in your life and be yourself then the rest will follow.
