Being More Productive
Hello everyone! Recently, I have entered a cycle of unproductivity. Scrolling on Instagram or Tik Tok for hours is not foreign activity for many of us. The feeling of sluggishness after these sessions is tedious and many individuals can agree! For my New Years resolution, I want to avoid laziness in as many areas of my life. Here are a few tips to help guide YOU be more productive as well!
Wake up early
Waking up early to have as many hours of the day as possible! If this is too hard, you can start off easy, such as waking up at 9 a.m. After each week, push yourself to wake up at an earlier time. Also, note that going to sleep late is not only unhealthy, but it will obviously affect your ability to wake up in the morning. Bonus: don’t forget to drink a cup of water in the morning too!
Limit screen time
Yes, we all need our break time and social media is something we all use for fun. However, make an effort to catch yourself when you begin mindlessly scrolling! Don’t get angry if you do! Be graceful and open minded as you break the habit.
Pick up a hobby
In case you catch yourself scrolling for hours on your phone, don’t switch activities and decide to spend hours on your laptop instead. Find something else to do like reading, painting, or exercising. This makes the biggest impact on my energy! I don’t feel as tired afterwards because these activities don’t involve any sort of technology.
